Our Fabled Nest

We all have our favorite things, right??? That’s what our Friday posts are celebrating! Each Friday (hopefully), we’ll give a short, sweet and simple post of some favorite things, products, ideas, media etc… we have found within the past week or something we recently discovered. As usual, each kiddo gets the spotlight since they all have diverse personalities! Magdalene is the OG around here; so, we are starting with her fancy fluffy self!

1. Minnows! Her most favorite thing on earth are these crunchy, freeze-dried cat treats! Yes, we know, cat treats but they are more than safe for puppers too! Small bites are the theme for her treats and how she prefers her food. Not messy, easy to enjoy and delicious!
2. Chicken Heads… bear with me for a second before you exit this post! As weird as these sound (and look and feel!), my herd especially Magda loves them! Plus, these little things have protein, calcium and a bit of Vitamin A. They are not long-lasting chews by any means, but I love giving them something different to nosh on!
3. Rabbit Bites are another favorite of hers! She loves small treats and bites even though she is a forty-five-pound fluffy ball. Dainty bites only! I purchase the cat version because they are smaller cuts with no ingredient difference. Plus, we love Vital Essentials brand, and these goodies are freeze -dried with minimal ingredients… only the good stuff here!
4. Exotic Thai Coconut chews with Cod. Yes, I know, another fish inspired goodie but at least seafood is nutritious for pups! She is a fancy seafood lover, these chews are on the small side, perfect for her, smaller pups, older pups or dogs that just don’t want to waste energy on long chews. A coconut chew wrapped with cod skin – Magda approved but these go quick if your pup is an aggressive chewer.
5. Full Moon Chicken Jerky. I specifically purchase the ones with glucosamine and chondroitin for hip and joint health. Being an older lady, she is the only one we usually give these treats to. Normally, when everyone else has their large bones, she prefers to cuddle up on her pillow with a few of these undisturbed to chew as she pleases. Again, small to medium pieces, easier to chew but high on flavor. Perfect for her fancy self!
